Ending the HIV/AIDS Pandemic: Follow the Science
Anthony S. Fauci, M.D., Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health, presents the keynote address, “Ending the HIV/AIDS Pandemic: Follow the Science,” at the Research Symposium to Inaugurate the NIH-Funded Einstein-Rockefeller-CUNY Center for AIDS Research (ERC-CFAR), held at Albert Einstein College of Medicine on June 19, 2017.
In his presentation, Dr. Fauci discusses how advances in HIV/AIDS science have provided a pathway to end the HIV/AIDS pandemic and outlines approaches to overcome two remaining scientific challenges, addressing HIV persistence and developing a safe and effective preventive HIV vaccine.
